Juno Beach, FL

Juno Beach has no marina and no inlet — which is exactly why a mobile mechanic works here

AquaRepair Marine services boats owned in Juno Beach, Florida. Juno Beach has no marina and no inlet of its own, so its boats live in racks, canals, driveways and neighboring-city slips — and a mobile mechanic meets the boat there. Juno Beach is a next-day response city; the dockside diagnostic is $149, credited in full to authorized repairs.

The Juno Beach problem: your boat is never where you are

Juno Beach is a narrow coastal town between the Atlantic and US-1, roughly a mile and a half of oceanfront with condominiums, single-family streets and Juno Beach Pier. There is no municipal marina, no boat basin and no inlet inside the town limits. Ocean access comes from Jupiter Inlet to the north or Lake Worth Inlet to the south, both reached by trailer or by keeping the boat on the Intracoastal west of town.

So Juno Beach ownership looks different from Jupiter ownership. The boat is on a trailer beside the house, in a rack at a Jupiter or North Palm Beach facility, or at a slip a few minutes away in 33408 — the ZIP Juno Beach shares with North Palm Beach.

That is a problem for shop-based repair, because the boat is already displaced once. Towing it a second time to a mechanic doubles the handling. We go to the rack lot, the driveway or the slip, and the rate card reads the same at all three.

Trailer boats fail differently than slip boats

Most of what we do in Juno Beach is trailer-kept work, and trailer boats have their own failure list.

Bearings run hot on I-95 and then get dunked in salt water at the ramp, which pulls water past the seal as they cool. Surge couplers seize. Lights corrode at the ground, not the bulb. And the boat itself sits: fuel takes on water and phase-separates, batteries sulfate, the impeller dries out and takes a set, and the first flush after four months puts a stuck thermostat on display.

We service boat trailers as well as Mercury, Yamaha, Suzuki and Honda outboards. Spring commissioning starts at $450 per engine — the full wake-up after layup — and for a Juno Beach boat that has been static since May, it is a cheaper visit than the tow that follows skipping it.

What it costs in Juno Beach

Prices do not change because the town is small or because the boat is on a trailer instead of a dock.

Second engine is 15% off. The $149 diagnostic is credited in full to work authorized on the same visit. Parts are extra unless stated, and Florida taxes parts and labor both at roughly 7% in Palm Beach County. You get a written estimate before work begins and a call before any overrun beyond 10%.

Next-day response, Saturdays included

Juno Beach is Tier 2: a next-day response window, inside a written commitment that a technician is at the boat within 24 hours or the trip fee is waived. Hours are Monday–Saturday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM, with emergency weekend coverage by text to 561-312-7308. In practice Juno Beach sits in the middle of our densest working corridor between Jupiter and North Palm Beach, so a same-day slot is often available — but the published commitment is next day, and we would rather publish the number we can keep.

One technician runs every job — — and every job ends with a photo-documented digital service record: ECU engine hours, part numbers, torque specs, before-and-after photos, emailed and texted before we leave. How it works shows the sequence.

The membership tiers fit intermittent-use boats well. Logbook is $39/month or $399/year. Standard is $79/month or $899/year and covers the 100-hour service plus a mid-year inspection with the diagnostic waived and 10% off parts and labor. Premium is $129/month or $1,499/year with quarterly inspections and weekend response. Additional engine +$39/month, and memberships transfer to the next owner when the boat sells.

Questions Juno Beach owners ask

There is no marina in Juno Beach. Can you still help me? That is the reason to call a mobile mechanic rather than a shop. We service the boat wherever it currently sits: a driveway in Juno Beach, a rack in Jupiter, a slip in North Palm Beach, or a dock on the Intracoastal. Nothing has to be towed to us, and the price is the same at every one of those locations.

How fast can you get to Juno Beach? Juno Beach is a Tier 2 city with a next-day response window, backed by the guarantee that a technician is at the boat within 24 hours or the trip fee is waived. Juno Beach is between two Tier 1 cities, so same-day openings are common. Call or text 561-312-7308 and we will tell you the real slot, not an optimistic one.

Do you charge more to come to Juno Beach? No. Pricing is flat and published and does not vary by city. A 25-hour service on a 175 HP outboard is $459 per engine in Juno Beach, in Jupiter, and in Delray Beach. There is no mileage charge, no trip surcharge and no travel line item on the invoice.

Can you service my boat in the driveway instead of the water? Yes, for most jobs. Trailer service, batteries, charging systems, fuel systems, plugs, filters and most electrical work happen fine on the trailer with a flush attachment. Anything that requires running the engine under load — sea trial, verifying a cooling repair, confirming a shift or prop complaint — needs the boat in the water. We will tell you which category your job is when you book.

Do you work on the trailer too, or just the engine? Both. Boat trailers are part of the service list: bearings, seals, brakes, lights, wiring and couplers. For a Juno Beach boat that gets launched at a ramp and hauled back home every trip, the trailer is a wearing part with a saltwater immersion cycle, and it fails on the shoulder of US-1 rather than at sea.

My boat has sat since spring. What order should I do things in? Commissioning first, at from $450 per engine, because it is one visit that covers fuel, batteries, the water pump, plugs, filters and a run-up rather than four separate calls. If you would rather start smaller, the $149 diagnostic reads compression and live data and produces a written cause — and it is credited in full if you authorize the work that day.
