Racked boats, splashed boats, and how the day gets planned
If the boat is in the water, the work happens at the slip: the engine trims up and impellers, seals, gear oil, plugs and filters get done over the transom from the finger pier. If the boat is racked, nothing happens until the forklift moves it — the yard's machine, the yard's operator, the yard's queue.
That gives a racked boat two service modes. Dropped in the yard: plugs, filters, oil, batteries, trim and tilt, most electrical work. Splashed into a slip: anything needing the engine under load — cooling verification, thermostats, fuel pressure at RPM, a sea-trial check. Flush muffs confirm water flow at idle; they do not load the engine, and a fault that appears only at 4,000 RPM will not show on a hose.
Book the forklift move mid-week where possible. On weekend mornings the machine is dedicated to launching, and a service drop waits behind every boat in the queue.
What the owner arranges with the office
The rack or slip holder sets it up. One call to the office does it: a drop in the yard at a fixed time, or a splash with the boat held in a slip for the appointment window, plus a note that a contractor is coming.
AquaRepair Marine is an independent mobile mechanic and is not on an approved-vendor list at Suntex Marina at Jupiter or at any facility. The owner arranges the gate pass or dockmaster notification. AquaRepair carries the liability coverage marinas ask for and sends a certificate of insurance to the office on request., including whether contractors may work on a boat still in the rack.

Questions Suntex Jupiter boat owners ask
Do I need to splash the boat for you, or can you work it in the rack? It depends on the job and on the facility's rules. Batteries, electrical, trim and tilt, plugs and filters are dry work. Cooling systems, thermostats and anything verified under load need the boat in the water.
Are you an approved vendor at Suntex? No. AquaRepair is an independent operator and is not on an approved-vendor list at Suntex Marina at Jupiter or anywhere else. The owner arranges the gate pass or notifies the dockmaster, and we send a certificate of insurance to the office on request.
Do you do warranty work on a new Yamaha or Mercury? No. Warranty repairs and OEM-financed repowers go to an authorized dealer, and we say so before you spend money rather than after. Everything outside warranty is ours — scheduled service, diagnostics, pumps, lower units, fuel and electrical.
