Which Safe Harbor is this one
There are two Safe Harbor marinas within a few minutes of each other in North Palm Beach, and slip holders mix them up constantly when they call. This page is the 107-slip facility. The 207-slip basin is Safe Harbor Old Port Cove.
Tell us which one when you book, along with your dock and slip number. It matters more than it sounds: it changes the drive, the walk from the truck, and whether a job that needs two trips down the dock can be done in one.
Access and paperwork — the owner opens the gate, we send the insurance
AquaRepair is not an approved vendor, a preferred vendor, or on any contractor list at Safe Harbor North Palm Beach or at any other marina. We hold no gate access of our own.
What that means in practice: you call the dockmaster's office and say a contractor is coming, or you leave a pass in your name. AquaRepair carries the contractor insurance marinas ask for and will email a certificate of insurance directly to the office on request.
Bridges, idle time, and what a slow run does to an outboard
Boats kept here run the Intracoastal to reach open water, and that stretch of the ICW is slow-speed and manatee-zone water with bridges to clear. A 25-minute idle each way is normal, and outboards are not designed around it.
The layup problem, September through October
North Palm Beach runs on the snowbird calendar. Boats sit from May to October, and September and October are the recommissioning wave — the busiest stretch of the year for us, and also hurricane peak.
Questions slip holders here ask
Are you an approved vendor here? No. AquaRepair is not on an approved or preferred contractor list at this facility or any other. You notify the dockmaster or arrange the gate pass; we carry contractor insurance and send a certificate of insurance to the marina office on request.
Do you do warranty work? No. Warranty claims and OEM-financed repowers go to an authorized dealer, and we will tell you when your problem is one of those before you spend money with us. Everything else is serviced to OEM specification with OEM parts and documented to warranty-proof standard.
