Seventy-eight wet slips is a compact, walkable facility — for a mobile technician, the ideal size. Gear comes down the dock on one cart, and nobody is staging a water pump job at the end of a 400-yard pier. If your slip is at the far end or reached through a side gate, mention it at booking.
Every boat is floating, so the gearcase is underwater. Impellers, pump housings, lower unit seals and gear oil are done with the engine trimmed up, the technician working over the transom from the finger pier. Routine on a single or twin outboard; slower on a tight side-tie, or when the transom faces open water and a north wind pushes chop into the basin — which is why cooling work gets scheduled early rather than at 3 PM. The truck carries its own power, so diagnostics and charging tests never wait on an outlet.
Access, the dockmaster, and the COI
AquaRepair Marine is an independent mobile operator. It is not on an approved-vendor list at Marina Delray or at any other facility, and it will not be described as one.
The slip holder arranges the gate pass or notifies the dockmaster that a contractor is coming — in most Palm Beach County marinas, one email to the office the day before. AquaRepair carries the liability coverage marinas ask for and sends a certificate of insurance directly to the office on request. Some facilities require advance registration for contractors, some keep a COI on file annually, some have no requirement at all.

Do I have to arrange anything with the marina office first? Yes. AquaRepair is not an approved vendor at Marina Delray or any other facility, so the slip holder arranges the gate pass or tells the dockmaster a contractor is scheduled. We send a certificate of insurance to the office on request. Check the current contractor policy with the office when you book.
